Volunteering at FACC through the Eagle Scout Projects

J. Anthony Antonelli’s company has worked as an independent sales and marketing consultancy for many years. He is the chairman of Worldwide Solutions, LLC, a Utah-based firm that helps companies develop and execute strategic plans. An active member in his community, J. Anthony Antonelli sits on and has be the chairman of the board of the Food and Care Coalition (FACC) of Utah County.

FACC is a Utah-based association that strives to alleviate hunger and poverty via an approach that incorporates the help of patrons, staff, and volunteers. One of the association’s volunteer projects is the Eagle Scout Projects. In the Eagle Scout Projects, scouts may collect used bicycles and repair them, engage in a construction-related project at FACC facilities, make apartment startup kits or quilts for clients moving into apartments, or any other viable, feasible project.

Eagle Scout Projects’ volunteers communicate with FACC staff before, during, and after their project to ensure optimal results and goals are reached. In addition, they are to submit copies of their Eagle Scout Leadership Project Workbook, with other materials related to the project such as the inventory list, flyers, and pictures.
